Story Ratings Across Fantasy Universes
Stories are rated on a scale of 1 to 5 following parameters:
- Plot/Story: This refers to the actual narrative arc of the media. Is it engaging and well-paced? Does the story make sense? Are there plot holes, or is everything well explained and connected?
- Character Development: How well are the characters developed? Do they feel real, complex, and well-rounded? Do they grow and change throughout the story?
- World-building: This is especially important in high fantasy media. Is the setting of the media believable and immersive? Does it adhere to its own rules? Is there depth to the world, its history, and its culture?
- Writing Style: How is the prose? Is it eloquent, vivid, and expressive? Does it keep you engaged, or is it difficult to follow?
- Originality: Does the media bring something new to the table? Whether it's an original concept, unique characters, or innovative world-building, does it offer a fresh take on the genre?
